Every pair is handcrafted in Brazil by skilled artisans, using premium leather sourced from Leather Working Group Gold-rated suppliers, the global standard for responsible leather production.

The word "Mangará" comes from the Tupi-Guarani languages of Brazil. Indigenous people gave this name to the banana flower — a heart-shaped bloom. Because for them, it represented beauty born from nature. For us, it represents the same: something made with care that lasts.

Mangará was founded by Patricia Cossettinn, an Italo-Brazilian entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in fashion, product design, and international trade. After relocating to Belgium, Patricia created Mangará to bring the warmth and craftsmanship of Brazilian shoemaking to European customers who value quality over quantity.
